NOTICE TO TAMA COUNTY CITIZENS FOR SUGGESTED CHANGES
TO ARTICLE XIX SOLAR ZONING ORDINANCE

Notice is hereby given that the Tama County Board of Supervisors would like public comments on changes the public would like to see made to the current Solar Zoning Ordinance. The public is invited to submit written and signed comments on the ordinance to the Tama County Auditor’s Office at PO Box 61 Toledo, IA 52342. Written and signed comments may also be emailed to the Tama County Auditor, Laura Kopsa at lkopsa@tamacounty.org. All written comments need to be submitted by June 30, 2023.

The Board of Supervisor's welcomes comments from the public during the "Public Comments" time at the beginning of the meeting. There will be a five minute limit. The public will go up to the front of the room, state their name and address and share their comments. They can only speak once. The Supervisors will not comment, they will listen and take in information. You are allowed to record, tape and photograph any open session.

Maximum Property Tax Dollars Resolution
WHEREAS, the Tama County Board of Supervisors have considered the proposed FY 22/23 county maximum property tax dollars for both General County Services and Rural County Services, and
WHEREAS, a notice concerning the proposed county maximum property tax dollars was published as required and posted on county web site and/or social media accounts if applicable,
WHEREAS, a public hearing concerning the proposed county maximum property tax dollars was held on 2/28/2022,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of Tama County that the maximum property tax dollars for General County Services and Rural County Services for FY 22/23 shall not exceed the following:

General County Services: $7,282,088; an increase of 6.14% from the prior year
Rural County Services: $2,608,675; a change of 7.87% from the prior year
