The Traer Salt & Pepper Shaker Gallery features the enourmous salt and pepper shaker collection of long-time Traer resident, Ruth Rasmussen. The collection was purchased by the City of Traer in 2008 and are now on display at a museum gallery space near in downtown Traer. The collection includes over 15,000 sets of shakers and is the largest collection of publicly displayed shakers in the Midwest.
